Travel Liability
- Clients book travel with Neptune Travel Group at their free will, travel at their free will, travel at their own risk, and are advised to use common safety precautions while on travel.
- Travel insurance is available for purchase and must be purchased with initial deposit in some cases.
- Payments to Neptune Travel Group are non-refundable and non-transferrable unless travel insurance is purchased or a group trip is completely cancelled due to events such as group minimum requirement unmet, terrorist alerts, and inclement weather.
- Refunds associated with trip cancellations by Neptune Travel Group or Group leader with a customized trip less penalty fees will be made within 30 days of receipt of trip cancellation and will be made via business check to the address provided during registration or via Paypal to the account(s) used to make the payment(s), with the discretion left to Neptune Travel Group.
- Travel insurance claims can take up to 4-8 weeks after the trip return date, to be processed and remitted.
Neptune Travel Group is not responsible for any lost items while on travel. - Most hotels and vehicle rental/leasing companies require a credit card at check-in to act as a bond and for incidentals. If you do not have a credit card you may be required to pay a cash bond directly to the supplier.
- Some hotels require a daily resort fee to be paid directly to the hotels. This is very common for Vegas and Puerto Rico hotels.
Neptune Travel Group is not responsible for vehicles parked at designated bus pick-up locations. - Neptune Travel Group is not liable for any changes made by airlines and hotel chains.
- Flight times, seat assignments, and numbers are subject to change by airlines.
- Neptune Travel Group will advise you when a destination is a high risk and declared not permissible by the State Department’s Office of American Citizens Services and Crisis Management and other travel authorities. Click here for a list of travel warnings.
Flights
- We book flights within a package with hotel and for groups of 10 or more traveling from the same city with the same itinerary. Otherwise, each individual is responsible for booking their own flight.
- For flights only purchases not booked with a package or group, we highly recommend you to book your own flight, however, we can price watch and book a flight for a service fee of $20 plus the rate of the flight. When given a rate, you must be ready to pay for the flight in full.
- Please understand that flight prices change very frequently, they change daily, sometimes hourly, and are usually the major driver in full packages price changes.
Travel Documents
- Passports are required for travel for international travel. Click here to apply or renew your passport.
- Many destinations require passports to be valid at least 6 months beyond the completion of travel.
- If you are not a U.S. citizen, check with the consulate of the country to which you are traveling for entry requirements.
- Some countries may require you to obtain a Visa before entering their country. Click here for a list.
- For cruises, passports are highly recommended but birth certificates from the vital statistics office are allowed.
- If you are a U.S. Citizen, you do not need a passport for Hawaii, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.
- Some travel packages or parts of travel packages are ticketless. For instance, flights are mainly ticketless.
- Bus trips are ticketless and do not require a ticket to board bus, however, your ID maybe checked against the preprinted bus name list. Feel free to bring your receipt in case of a possible discrepancy.
